Sloan to kick off Bell CNE Bandshell concerts, Big Boi also on lineup

CNE runs from Aug. 16 to Sept. 2

The OutKast’s Big Boi and Toronto bands Sloan and Big Wreck and country sibling duo The Reklaws have been added to the 2024 Bell CNE Bandshell lineup, which is heavily influenced by the 1990s and early aughts this year.

Sloan, with The Tragically Hip’s Paul Langlois as opener, will kick off the Bell CNE Bandshell’s opening day on Aug. 16 and Big Boi’s Aug. 25 date is the only Canadian stop of his 2023-24 tour.

The newest additions came on the heels of such previously announced shows as Manchester Orchestra, Down With Webster and April Wine.

The CNE takes place from Aug. 16 to Sept. 2 and all bandshell concerts are free with admission to the fair.
