The car drove through the mall, stopped at a store — The Source — and stole an unknown quantity of merchandise, then smashed through another set of doors to exit the mall and flee the scene.
“They’ve taken a quantity of electronic devices,” Sgt. Clint Whitney told reporters at the scene Wednesday.
Police have released a video clip showing the car driving through the mall parking lot and turning abruptly to crash through a set of glass door and enter the mall.
The car is then seen whipping around the mall before crashing through another set of doors as it flees the scene.
“It is an audacious crime,” Whitney said. “It is unacceptable.”

Police believe two people were inside the vehicle, but they were wearing hoods so it’s not known if they were male or female.

The car also has the distinctive words “Ladies on wheels” emblazoned in white lettering on the windshield.
Several young women who work in the mall and were huddled around their cellphones watching the stunning video Wednesday afternoon reacted by repeatedly saying, “This is crazy, this is really crazy.”
Whitney said there was “significant damage” to two entrances and The Source store that was targeted.
“People work in this mall, there’s going to be cleaners, there is going to be security personnel,” he said. “So we’re just fortunate that nobody was hurt and it is property damage only.”
