On a messy Monday morning the TTC wasn’t the better way as passengers on Line 2 were evacuated from a train after a fire broke out in the subway tunnel.

Southern Ontario was battered Sunday by a mix of freezing rain, ice pellets and snow that caused traffic chaos and left thousands without power.
Between 30 and 40 passenger vehicles and big-rig trucks were involved in a pileup on Highway 401 in Kingston Sunday afternoon.
One person died at the scene and provincial police said 15 to 20 others were taken to hospital, most with non life-threatening injuries.
