Suspect sought for violent sexual assaults in Brampton

A suspect is sought following a pair of violent sexual assaults in Brampton earlier this month.
Peel Regional Police have obtained video surveillance footage and are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect accused of the assaults in the McLaughlin Rd.-Steeles Ave. area.

Police said the incidents happened on Sept. 2 at about 5:30 a.m. and on Sunday at about 1:30 a.m.

The suspect is a South Asian man in his late 20s or early 30s, about 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 with a medium build. He is unshaven and has dark, short hair with a receding hair line.
Police are asking anyone with information, video surveillance or dashcam footage who may have been in the area during the morning hours of Sept. 2 and Sunday to contact investigators at 905-453-2121, Ext. 3460, or Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or peelcrimestoppers.ca.
