A vehicle pulled into a business in the area and a thief then “removed numerous catalytic converters from vehicles in the parking lot,” Const. Shannon Eames said in a statement released Wednesday, explaining the vehicle then fled the scene.
Investigators have now released images of a suspect vehicle hoping members of the public can help them track it down.
The vehicle is described as a newer-model white Chevrolet Camaro with a black hood and large tail fin.
