Zuckerberg wears $900,000 watch to announce end of Meta fact checks

How much are you willing to spend on a watch? A couple hundred bucks? Or maybe, if you have a disposable income, a couple grand isn’t unheard of.

But if you’re billionaire Meta chairman Mark Zuckerberg, then money is no object — certainly not when it comes to what he wears on his wrist.

This week, he appeared on video explaining his company’s decision to end third-party fact-checking on its social media platforms in the United States.

And while his words were captivating for some, others were more fascinated by his left wrist: a rare Greubel Forsey “Hand Made 1,” according to Bloomberg News.

Unless you are a die-hard, affluent collector like Zuckerberg, who has been spotted over the past year wearing other high-end watches from Patek Philippe and FP Journe, then you may not have heard of the brand of his latest lavish timepiece.

Given that Greubel Forsey SA only produces two or three “Hand Made” models a year, it comes at a hefty price — $895,500US before taxes.

Linda De Sousa Abreu’s torrid tryst with career criminal Linton Weirich was filmed by another jailbird who was smoking marijuana as the action unfolded, Brad Hunter reported.

As the judge sentenced a sobbing Abreu, he didn’t seem to notice her sobbing, simply noting she was an “enthusiastic” participant in the “forbidden” encounter.

“Whether you intended it or not, the fact is the video went viral and caused great harm.”

We’re going to wager it was fully intended — until she got caught.

In a video posted to social media from the Jan. 7 game, three fans — two men and one woman — wearing Leafs gear appeared to be waving to some friends while standing in front of the glass during a break in play, Dan Bilicki noted.

But their gesture set off the Flyers fan, who hopped over several rows of seats to confront the men wearing Auston Matthews jerseys and proceeded to unload a flurry of punches on them.

The man only stopped after one of his victims stumbled backwards after being rocked by a blow to the head.

It is unknown whether the lunatic faced any ramifications for his ridiculous actions.

But on the day Trudeau announced that he will eventually be stepping down as Canada’s Liberal leader and prime minister, Gregoire Trudeau not only shared that she was having the time of her life with video of her ski vacation with their children, some of her quotes were just too juicy to not link to her ex, Denette Wilford reported.

The gist of her posts included how “toxic relationships” can mess with your physical health.

But one photo was quite telling, featuring a sketch of a faceless woman with long, flowing hair at three different times — 2023, 2024 and 2025.

The photo for 2023, the year the Trudeaus announced their split, shows the woman weeping into her hands, while the 2024 woman appears to be looking more hopeful. And by 2025, the woman looks content.

This may be Sophie’s best year yet.
