Toronto cop hurt chasing robbery suspect in downtown TTC station
Pursuit ended on subway tracks with arrest of a man, 30, and seizure of gun

A cop was injured while pursuing a robbery suspect onto the subway tracks at a downtown TTC station early Saturday.
On Saturday at 1 a.m., police responded to a call for a person with a gun at the Bloor-Yonge TTC subway station.
Police said a suspect was allegedly seen entering the subway station with a firearm.
When police arrived, they located the suspect on a train platform.
The suspect fled, but police arrested him on the track level and a firearm was allegedly seized.
A police officer received non-life-threatening injuries during the arrest.
Shaquille Miller, 30, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm, two counts of possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, possession of a weapon, unauthorized possession of a prohibited device or ammunition, carrying a concealed weapon, two counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order and two counts of assaulting a peace officer.
