Toronto cops probing two overnight stabbings

Toronto Police are investigating two overnight stabbings that sent two men to hospital.
In the first incident, around 1:10 a.m. Thursday, officers responded to reports of an assault in the St. Clair Ave. W. and Glenholme Ave. area, east of Dufferin St.
A man in his 30s was located with stab wounds and taken to a trauma centre. His injuries were initially described as life threatening but were downgraded to non-life-threatening, cops said on X.
No information was provided on suspects or any arrests.
In the second stabbing, police found a man in his 30s with stab wounds around 3:40 a.m. at Front St. and Tannery Rd., east of Cherry St.
The victim was transported to a local trauma centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
A man in his 20s is in custody.
