Cops started an investigation in October after being approached by a victim who said she was recruited into the sex trade and that the suspect allegedly took control of aspects of her life, exploited her and benefited from it financially.
Police believe there may be more victims. Anyone with information about this investigation is urged to contact investigators at 905-453-2121, Ext. 3555. Information may also be left anonymously by calling Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or by visiting www.peelcrimestoppers.ca.
In August 2022, Halton Regional Police charged Davis with a slew of sex trafficking-related charges, including trafficking a person under 18, assault, uttering threats and failure to comply with his probation order.
It was unclear if there was a resolution of those charges before a court. Halton Regional Police had yet to respond to an email from the Toronto Sun seeking an update.
