Toronto second most profitable Airbnb city in Canada

Toronto is the second most profitable of Canada’s 50 major cities for Airbnb hosts, behind Vancouver, according to a study by money.ca.
The research, carried out by the financial comparison platform, looked at how much Canadian homeowners could earn by renting out a variety of property types, including a one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom suites.
The study ranked the top earning cities in Canada for Airbnb hosts by comparing average per night charge.
Surprisingly, smaller regional centres across Canada also topped the list for most expensive Airbnb rental, including Mississauga, which placed third, behind Toronto.
While vacationers may not be happy, short-term rental hosts with properties in one of these cities will be pleased, with average nightly rental rates ranging from $234 to $325.
