Halton Regional Police say the victim drove home from a Goodlife Fitness location in Oakville and parked his BMW sedan in the driveway of his residence near William Rose Way and Wheat Boom Dr. – northwest of Eighth Line and Dundas St. E. – around 11:30 p.m. on Monday.
“As the victim parked his vehicle, a dark-coloured BMW SUV entered the driveway and the victim was pulled out of his vehicle by one of two suspects who demanded the victim’s vehicle keys,” police said in a statement released Wednesday.
Police said the victim handed over his keys and the carjackers drove off in his car heading south towards Dundas St. E.
“No weapons were mentioned or observed,” police said, adding the victim was not physically injured.
The carjackers are both described as brown males, about 5-foot-10, with heavier builds, who were wearing dark-coloured hoodies, toques and medical masks.
A third person was spotted behind the wheel of the BMW SUV that brought the carjackers to the victim’s house.
Police urged anyone with information to call 905-825-4777, ext. 2216.
