Two young men gunned down in the city’s Riverdale neighbourhood on Tuesday have now been identified.
Toronto Police responded at about 11:15 p.m. to a call for the sound of gunshots in the area of Bain and Logan Aves., south of Danforth Ave.
Officers arrived on scene and found two men who had been shot.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene while the second man was taken to hospital where he later died.
On Thursday, police publicly identified the victims as Quentin Caza, 18, and Jeremy McNeil, 20, both of Toronto.

The two men are Toronto’s ninth and 10th homicides of the year.
On Wednesday morning, a bullet-riddled, four-door Ford Edge SUV was seen parked on the north side on Bain Ave., west of Logan.

Forensic officers dusted the SUV for evidence, however, police would not say whether the victims had been shot inside the vehicle.
Police also said at the time that they didn’t believe this was a random act.

Cops said they received information that two men were seen fleeing the area after the shooting through Withrow Park on the east side of Logan, but they did not have proper suspect descriptions.
The Toronto Police X account described two possible male suspects as being between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-8 and wearing dark clothing.
On March 21, three young men were involved in an unrelated shooting incident at Strathcona and Jones Aves., which is east of the scene of Tuesday’s night’s double homicide.
Anyone with information regarding Tuesday’s double murder is asked to call the Homicide Unit at 416-808-7400 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
