Two Parking Enforcement officers assaulted in separate incidents
One man, 39, is accused of assaulting an officer on Thursday and two men, 54 and 56, allegedly assaulted an officer on Friday

Three men are accused of assaulting Parking Enforcement officers in two separate incidents less than 25 hours apart in the city last week.
Toronto Police say officers responded to the first incident near Jarvis and Carlton Sts. around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday
“It is alleged that a Parking Enforcement officer was conducting enforcement in the area,” Const. Sinderela Chung said in a statement released Saturday.
She said a man allegedly “became upset and assaulted the officer as he was being issued the parking violation.”
A suspect was subsequently arrested.
Yai Bol Dau, 39, of St. Catharines, is charged with assaulting a peace officer and is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 18.
In a separate incident, just before 11:30 a.m. on Friday, two men are accused of assaulting a Parking Enforcement officer who was working in the area of Avenue Rd. and Glengarry Ave. – just north of Lawrence Ave. W.
Chung said two men allegedly “approached the officer and assaulted him as he issued the parking violation.”
Two suspects were subsequently taken into custody.
Mehmet Yilmaz, 54, of Toronto, and Ercan Yilmaz, 56, of Mississauga, are each charged with assaulting a peace officer.
The accused are both expected to appear in court on Aug. 13.
