The hunt is on for a man who allegedly flashed a gun and threatened to shoot someone in Flemingdon Park last week.

Toronto Police say officers responded to a person with a gun call in the vicinity of St. Dennis Dr. and Deauville Ln. — southeast of Don Mills rd. and Eglinton Ave. E. — around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

“It is reported that the male suspect approached the victim and engaged the victim in conversation,” Const. Laurie McCann said in a statement released Saturday.

She said the male then “revealed what appeared to be a firearm tucked in his waistband and threatened to shoot the victim.”

The armed male then fled the area on foot and was last seen heading north on Deauville Ln., McCann explained.

“The suspect and the victim are not known to each other,” she added.

Investigators have released grainy images of a suspect hoping someone will recognize him and come forward.

He’s described as 20 to 25 years old, about 5-foot-8, with a medium build. He was wearing a black facemask, black sweater, blue/black pants and black shoes.

Member of the public who spot the suspect are advised not to approach him and to call 911 immediately.
