A thug slashed a man’s face after jumping on the victim’s back and punching him repeatedly, according to Toronto Police.
The victim — in his 20s — was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after the attack around 12:30 p.m. last Friday on a pathway in the Victoria Park Ave.-O’Connor Dr. area.
Police said the assailant jumped on the victim’s back and punched him several times in the head during an unprovoked attack. The attacker pulled a knife and slashed the victim in the chest and face.
The assailant is described as 5-foot-10, 30-35 years old, with dark hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts, and black Adidas shoes.
Police cautioned that if you see the suspect, do not approach him and call 911.
