Victim stabbed after refusing to give man change: Hamilton cops

Hamilton Police have charged a man with attempted murder after a violent and life-altering stabbing over spare change.
On Nov. 8 at 11:30 p.m., a male was walking by 810 Main St. E. when when another man asked him for change.
When the victim declined, he was stabbed several times in the head and back. His attacker then fled.
The victim was taken to hospital with “life-altering injuries.” Police did not release any further information on the victim.
In a statement Tuesday, police said “as a result of a thorough investigation,” David McGregor, 37, was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
