Video shows man flashing replica gun at Union Station security guard

A shocking video circulating on social media shows a man flashing what police say was a replica gun at a security guard in Union Station’s food court this week.

In the two-minute clip shared by 6ixBuzzTV, several security guards are seen grabbing a woman who begins to scream while a man tries to intervene.

The woman then drops to the ground and the man backs off before he briefly waves the replica handgun at the face of a male security guard.

Some guards back away from the man as he goes to help the woman off the ground. “Let’s go now,” he says.

However, the guards quickly grab the woman again while she pleads for them to let her leave.

“Please let me go. I didn’t do anything,” she says.

The woman is slowly brought to the ground by security while another group of guards hold the man a short distance away.

Toronto Police said officers were called to Union Station by security on Monday at approximately 10 p.m.

Cops allege three people were involved in an altercation with two other people.

“There was a replica handgun involved, and Union Station security intervened,” Media Relations Officer Viktor Sarudi said in an emailed statement to the Sun.

According to police, three people were arrested and charged with multiple drug and weapon offences. No other details were released.
