Volleyball coach accused of sex assault during lesson in Scarborough

A 57-year-old man is accused of sexually assaulting someone during a volleyball lesson in Scarborough.
Toronto Police say an investigation into the alleged sex assault in the area of Pharmacy and McNicoll Aves. began June 19.
“It is alleged that the victim attended a private volleyball club for a lesson,” Const. Viktor Sarudi said in a statement released Wednesday, explaining the person claimed they had been sexually assaulted by a coach at the volleyball club.
A suspect was identified and a Markham resident was arrested Sunday.
Qing Wu, also known as “Coach Wu,” is charged with one count of sexual assault.
