Three masked men snuck up and stabbed a guy on his driveway Sunday! In a separate incident, four men in a car were pulled over and allegedly nabbed with a loaded gun and loads of cash and drugs!
On Saturday a man was pulled over in a seasonal RIDE spot check and allegedly found to have a loaded handgun.
And so many are talking about the man charged with assault on a female — a horrific video posted to social media on Saturday that showed her being kicked repeatedly.
So where is all of this insanity happening? Chicago? Caracus? Mexico City?
How about Brampton and Mississauga! You read it right.
These four incidences just add to what has been a troubling year for Peel Region where they have seen victims shot coming home from work and stabbed to death while trying to stop people from breaking into cars to steal change.

It’s repugnant. But it keeps happening.
In Brampton and Mississauga in 2019 there have been 25 murders compared to all of 2018 where there was also 25 murders. The record is 27, so you get the idea.
Peel cops catch most of these criminals and bring them before the courts but they are often quickly released on bail. Many commit further crimes and go for bail again.
Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown and Mississauga Mayor Bonnie Crombie are both rightfully fed up with killers coming in from other locales, committing serious crimes and then hightailing it out of town.
Sunday’s stabbing near Bear Run Rd. and Elbern Markell Dr. is difficult to determine where the suspects are from because they all fled on foot. It could have been homicide 26 if not for the incredible Emergency Room staff at the trauma centre and the paramedics who treated the victim on the scene.

Const. Akhil Mooken said police have yet to determine if this attack was targeted or random.
And the way things have been in Brampton this year it would not be surprising if it was either, or even a case of mistaken identity.

Hats off to Peel police for arresting and charging a 27-year-old man with impaired driving and for allegedly carrying a loaded, illegal handgun during a roadside spot check at Dixie. and North Service Rds.
Same goes to the OPP who reported an incredible stop Grey Cup Sunday of a car on Hwy. 410 that was clocked at 150 km/h in a 100 km/h zone. It started as a speeding investigation that ended up with Muhammad Niaz, 18, charged with stunt driving, but then police also allegedly located a loaded handgun, a large quantity of drugs and cash.
On Sunday, Nov 24th, 2019 #OPP observed a vehicle #Hwy410 at over 150 km/hr. Officers stopped/seized an imitation firearm, drugs and cash. Driver-Muhammad NIAZ 18, Brampton, Charged with stunt driving, weapons, drug possession/trafficking, proceeds of crime charges. pic.twitter.com/O9Th9nTzI8

Also charged with drug possession and trafficking charges are Sanhueza Aguila, Jacob Kellyman, Marcus Ramjatian, who — like Niaz — are all just 18.
Add this to the Malton shooting that killed innocent victim Jonathan Davis, 17, and it’s not hard to see how crazy things have become. Everybody should be upset!
