There are also cameras at every nearby building on Samor Rd. and all around the area of Dufferin St. and Lawrence Ave. W.
“We are going through all of the video from the area,” a Toronto Police homicide detective said Tuesday. “We are still working hard at that but should have an image or video in the next day or two.”
Oops!
Hey, gunmen, that would be you on the video footage.
And not just pictures of the shooting incident, which also killed 32-year-old targeted gangster Thanh Tien Ngo, but also of the getaway vehicle which was heading westbound.
Thanh Tien Ngo, 32, was fatally shot outside a bowling alley on March 17, 2018.
Police say two of the three males involved wore hooded jackets and running shoes. But so far that’s about it.

But did you pull your hoods down at some point? Did you stop the car at all during the getaway? Are you sure you were not on camera?
Stay tuned.
Police are all over this one. One of you might want to surrender with a lawyer before that door gets kicked down. Don’t say I didn’t warn you? Cops are motivated. They are coming.
“It’s a shocking crime and we would ask anyone who may have any detail, that may not even seem important, to contact Crime Stoppers or our investigators immediately,” said spokesman Mark Pugash. “You just never know, that detail could make a difference.”
Police are looking at possible links to an ongoing turf war between the Chin Pac and Asian Assassinz as well as any previous crimes or shootings involving the two street gangs.

But enough about the killers. There will be plenty of time for that when they are arrested.
The city’s focus should be on the beautiful young woman who was successful in her banking career and so happily married for the past year that she and her husband were about to start a family. The focus should be on that husband who admits he is completely lost as the reality sets in on what transpired Saturday.
Ruma Amar, 29, was fatally shot on March 17, 2018 outside a bowling alley.
“I am devastated,” Amandeep Luthra told me. “This has been so hard.”
“Please pray for my wife and I hope no one has to go through this,” Luthra added, as he gave me a picture of Ruma and himself at their wedding reception a year ago.
They look so happy. They were happy.
Then they went bowling and some thugs decided to settle scores just as they went out for some fresh air. Wrong place at the wrong time?

No nonsense Const. Randy Arsenault had the best answer to that in a tweet he sent out Tuesday.
“I HATE when people say a victim was in the ‘wrong place at the wrong time’. Out with your family trying to enjoy life is wrong? To me that just takes the onus off the suspect. She was exactly where she had a right to be, doing exactly what she had a right to do. #StopTheViolence.”
This troubling episode has captured the attention of the whole country. And it was captured by many video cameras too.
You tough killers of an innocent 29-year-old woman know exactly what that means.
