Toronto’s transit system is like a war zone now, where you know there will be violence but you don’t always know where the enemy will strike. Sometimes it’s on a bus. Sometimes a train or street car or on a platform but the amount of issues now have the public and authorities with a huge problem.
The latest troubling incident happened at the York University Subway Station, were police say at “11:43 am” there were “reports of teens with replica guns” that shoot BBs,” which were fired and struck at least one person.
The investigation is still underway but it is believed the victim was not injured.

Toronto Police have arrested and charged four teens –two 15-year-old boys, one 15-year-old girl and one 16-year-old boy.
Youth crime in Toronto, specifically on the TTC, has become an epidemic in recent weeks.Police are still looking for four teens involved in shooting a bus driver at Markham Road and Progress Ave. Saturday, then escaped in a black sedan.
Earlier this week, Toronto Police arrested four teens in connection a a swarming of two TTC employees and a bus driver.
They are still working on the shooting with a BB gun of a TTC bus driver and have not indicated is the latest case could be connected.But how they are connected is that they are happening on the TTC and that riders are not saying they are becoming scared to travel on there.

There have been people shot, stabbed, robbed, sexual assaulted, pushed to the platform and even set on fire. The TTC is no longer ‘The better way.’ Many people are saying they would rather walk than subject themselves to any more risk.
In this case, according to information from the TTC, shuttle buses were brought in while police investigate.
“I condemn this act of violence,” Mayor John Tory tweeted Saturday. Calling Saturday’s BB gun shooting “shameful behaviour” he would not have known that this whole week would see so much more trouble on the TTC including a second BB gun shooting.
