Woman, 18, wanted for attempted murder on Toronto's Queen St. W.

She is also wanted for two counts of failure to comply with conditions.

An 18-year-old Toronto woman is sought for an early-morning stabbing on Queen West a couple of weeks ago.

Toronto Police say officers responded to the stabbing call near Queen St. W. and Bathurst St. around 1 a.m. on Aug. 8.

“It is alleged that after a physical altercation, the female suspect followed the victim and then stabbed the victim,” Const. Laurie McCann said Wednesday.

She said a second victim “attempted to intervene” and was also allegedly assaulted.

The suspect fled on foot before officers arrived at the scene.

McCann said both victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

“Through investigation, officers were able to identify the suspect,” she said.

Bruna Fernandes Martins is wanted for attempted murder, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, possessing weapons dangerous, and two counts of failure to comply with conditions.

She’s described as 5-foot-6 with a thin build and long, wavy, dark brown hair. She was last seen wearing a light-yellow crop top, white sweatpants and white flip flops.

Investigators have released images of the suspect hoping members of the public can help track her down.
