A woman is dead after being struck by a pickup truck in Brampton on Monday morning.
Peel Regional Police were called to the scene near Countryside Dr. and Airport Rd. around 7:15 a.m.

The female pedestrian had been hit by a pickup truck.
She was taken to hospital, where she died.
Police say the pickup truck driver remained at the scene and is co-operating with the investigation.
No other injuries were reported, and police are asking the public to avoid the area.
