Blainville police have arrested a man who they say drugged his co-workers without their knowledge.

Police arrested Thanh-Tung Van July 30, charging him with administering a harmful substance and possession of narcotics with intent to traffic.

In a Tuesday social media post, Blainville police said that the substances “caused symptoms including dizziness, blurred vision and general weakness.” The victims were “several people in his professional entourage in the industrial sector,” the statement said.

Blainville police said they seized more than 15,000 pills, 200 grams of a pink powder and 45 grams of rock-like substances, all suspected of being methamphetamine. They also seized 60 grams of white powder suspected to be cocaine and 30 grams of cannabis.

The man is scheduled for a bail hearing Wednesday. Police will continue to investigate.
