One new consumer habit showing a shift in delivery ordering is breakfast with Canadians loving to have their first meal of the day delivered right to their doorstep, said the report.
Breakfast delivery is growing faster than ever before with 45% growth from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. compared to this time in 2023.
When it comes to booze, whiskey, bourbon and scotch take the top spots for Canadians’ preferred alcohol delivery item.
Meanwhile, the top five menu items being chosen via DoorDash Marketplace in descending order are chicken dishes, sandwiches, pizza, sushi and vegetable dishes.
