King Charles may soon be in charge but it appears Canadians aren’t exactly counting down the minutes until he is crowned.
According to a new survey, Canadians will be finding something better to do this weekend than watch the pomp and circumstance going on across the pond.
Online gambling resource No Deposit Guide surveyed 1,500 Canadians to find out just how interested they are in the goings-on of the Royal Family and it seems most aren’t very keen.
When asked if they would make an effort to watch Charles’ coronation, a whopping 78% said no, while 19% were going to tune in, and the remaining 3% were unsure.

As the Sun’s Christina Blizzard previously reported, as soon as one monarch dies, it is customary for the Royal Canadian Mint to begin replacing the currency with the new one – though it doesn’t happen overnight.
However, Canada hasn’t revealed what its plans are for the currency and whether King Charles’ likeness will replace his late mother’s on its bills and coins, so it may not happen at all.
