The latest Angus Reid poll found that the Conservative Party of Canada was leading the Liberals by 14 points across the country.

The Tories led in all regions outside of Quebec, where 30% supported the Bloc Quebecois, 29% backed the Liberals and 23% said they would vote for Pierre Poilievre’s Conservatives.
Where the Liberals did OK was with women over the age of 54 as 41% said they would support Justin Trudeau’s party, while 28% preferred the Opposition Conservatives.
Also, two in five would-be voters said that the carbon tax will be a major factor for them in deciding which party to support in the next federal election.
The Angus Reid Institute conducted an online survey from Nov. 10 to Nov. 14 among a representative randomized sample of 2,512 Canadian adults who were members of Angus Reid Forum.
For comparison purposes only, a probability sample of this size would carry a margin of error of plus or minus 1.5 percentage points, 19 times out of 20.
