In a response to a Toronto Sun story about the child rapist, the Correctional Service of Canada said it wasn’t them.

The Sun reported Monday in an exclusive story that Desousa had undergone gender reassignment surgery and received DD breast implants.

Formerly Adam Laboucan, Desousa raped a three-month-old boy in British Columbia and was just 17 when a court declared him a dangerous offender.

Many readers were infuriated that the now 33-year-old had gotten implants on the public’s dime.

But Corrections Canada said they don’t cover breast implants.

“Non-essential health services, including breast implants for cosmetic purposes, will be at the inmate’s expense, including consultation fees, and at the discretion of the institutional head, any associated escort costs,” the service said in a statement.

The statement added: “Sex reassignment surgery is considered during incarceration when a qualified health professional in the area of gender dysphoria has confirmed that the inmate has satisfied the criteria for surgery, as set out in the World Professional Association for Transgendered Health’s Standards of Care for the Health of Transsexual, Transgender, and Gender Nonconforming People.”

So, if the feds didn’t spring for the DD cups, who did?

In all likelihood, it was the province of British Columbia where Desousa committed her crime and where she is incarcerated.

The victim of Desousa’s sickening sex attack was so badly injured he needed reconstructive surgery.

Now 36, Desousa is on Canadianinmatesconnect.com and looking for love.

“I am a transgender woman and I was born a man but now after surgery, I became a full woman,” Desousa writes on her profile. “I have a vagina, not a penis and also have 720ccs DD gel implants.”

Desousa has a troubling history behind bars, a 2010 parole hearing heard.

During her time in the clink, she has been caught prostituting herself to fellow cons, using drugs and threatening to kill a female guard. She has been found with a knife and stabbed herself.

At her dangerous offender hearing, Desousa also admitted to having killed a three-year-old child at age 11, although he was never criminally charged.

Meanwhile, a 2016 report on Huffington Post reported that transgender British Columbians are facing years of waitlists and gaps in funding for the surgeries.
