KISS resumed their farewell tour earlier this week without David Lee Roth, who Gene Simmons accused of being past his prime.
But don’t count Roth out just yet. He gets up, nothin’ gets him down, he’s got it tough and he’s seen the toughest around.
What’s best? He rolls with the punches and gets to what’s real, which in this day and age, is all about social media wars. Roth took to Instagram and updated his account with 18 identical black-and-white images of a child wearing sunglasses, flipping the bird and the text “Roth to Simmons,” in case you were unsure at whom those middle fingers were being directed.

The pandemic either brought couples together or pushed them apart. For some, it pushed one partner right out of bed, maybe even out of the bedroom.
But according to experts, that’s a good thing.
Separate beds can be a relationship-saver – because nothing makes a person crankier than a bad night’s sleep. That, in turn, makes said person feel that much better and healthier.
Fred and Wilma and Lucy and Ricky were so ahead of their time.

It’s no secret that politicians and political parties will say anything to get votes. But if promises are only as strong as the person (or, in this case, the party) who makes them, what does that say about Justin Trudeau and the Liberals?

Brian Lilley pointed out five of the biggies the Liberal Party failed to act on, including cutting mobile phone and Internet costs (didn’t happen); a national pharmacare plan to lower costs (crickets); electorial reform and a new voting system (nope); making peacekeeping central to our military efforts (um, no comment); and, finally, managing our country’s debt – which has nearly doubled in the six years Trudeau has been PM.
It might not be enough to change voters’ minds but it’ll hopefully make people think twice.

Since the election was officially announced, it seems fitting that Lilley’s stories are getting a lot of love. Our trusty political columnist Brian Lilley pointed out that the Liberals’ vaxx plan is exactly the same as what the Conservatives put forward.

The only difference? Trudeau’s plan is mandatory vaccinations with testing and screening for workers who refuse, while Erin O’Toole’s is voluntary vaccinations with testing and screening for workers who refuse. So his statements about the Conservatives’ plan being unreasonable make zero sense.

HONOURABLE MENTION: The week’s fifth place finisher is about Canadian embassy worker Ahmad Rahimi, who has waited weeks for a single email that would allow him and his family safe passage out of Kabul. BS bureaucracy, not the Taliban, is the real reason for our slow rescue efforts. Sickening and heartbreaking.
