The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) squad issued a statement Wednesday appealing to the public for help locating Joseph Camus and explaining he is once again wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
“It’s the exact same thing as before – he failed to return to the halfway house,” Det. Staff-Sgt. Steve Sermet said, noting Camus has been sought since Sept. 22.
The ROPE squad issued a similar statement on July 19 when Camus failed to return to a halfway house. He was eventually located.
But just a few months later, the ROPE squad is once again trying to track Camus down.
Camus is currently serving a two-year-and-one-month sentence for two counts of breaking-and-entering and commit, and one count each of mischief in relation to other property, theft under $5,000 and obstructing a peace officer.
