Senior accused of rubbing feces on walls of OPP holding cell
Police allege he was high on drugs at the time

OPP officers have charged a man who smeared his feces all over the walls of a police holding cell in Elliot Lake.
In a release, the East Algoma OPP said a man who was high on drugs showed up at a police station on Hillside Drive North at around 4 a.m. on July 11 “and caused a disturbance in the lobby.

“The man was very belligerent, threatening, and uncooperative with police. He was subsequently arrested and later that morning smeared his own feces all over the walls of the cell.”
Charged with mischief under $5,000 is John James Colquhoun, 66, of Elliot Lake.
The accused was scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice Bail Court in Blind River on July 12.
