All these two Vaughan residents wanted to do was show a little “kindness” to a local squirrel that would visit their property often. But a complaint from a neighbour led the city to punish them instead – with a $615 ticket.
Apparently feeding any kind of wildlife can cause “unintended consequences,” like possible encounters between the little buggers and bigger buggers like coyotes.

Even bird feeders are frowned upon, according to the city because of spillage and not being rodent-proof. Basically, leave the squirrels to forage themselves or else you’ll pay a price – in Vaughan, at least.
Jennifer Aniston says she has cut ties with ‘a few people’ over vaccination status. / InstagramPhoto by instagram.com/jenniferaniston/
Anyone looking to be friends with Jennifer Aniston needs to be vaccinated – and presumably jabbed twice.
The actress revealed that she’s cut a few people from her inner circle who have either refused to get vaccinated or are unwilling to disclose if they have or not.
“I feel it’s your moral and professional obligation to inform, since we’re not all podded up and being tested every single day. It’s tricky because everyone is entitled to their own opinion — but a lot of opinions don’t feel based in anything except fear or propaganda.”

Jenny Huang was living the Canadian dream, operating a souvenir shop at St. Lawrence Market since immigrating from China in 1992.
The City of Toronto had another plan for Huang: forcing her to close her shop – even though hers was the first one there – because the market thought there had too many souvenir shops.
Mayor John Tory didn’t intervene on Huang’s permanent shutdown and, even worse, many people went out of their way to spread lies about her, saying she was behind in rent and violated her lease.
Our trusty Joe Warmington, however, delved deeper and discovered it all to be BS – but small consolation for the former small business owner who is now officially unemployed.

With Alberta close to lifting many of its COVID restrictions, Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi, finds the whole thing “inconceivable” and “the height of insanity.”
It’s safe to say we know where he stands.
Candice Malcolm, on the other hand, opines that the rest of the country needs to follow suit.
Nutshell? Stop the madness, treat the coronavirus like any other airborne illness, and avoid listening to the “left-wing lockdown authoritarians” because the lockdowns were deadlier than the virus for most Canadians.

HONOURABLE MENTION: The week’s fifth place finisher goes to the two teens from Texas charged with stealing the necklace from the body of a dead man they found in a ditch, then posted video of their robbery on Snapchat. Unbelievable.
