Arizona cops deliver pizza to shocked customer after arresting delivery driver

Arizona police officers made one hungry woman’s day despite arresting her pizza delivery driver.
Video shared by the Tempe Police Department on their social media pages shows cops at the door of a residential building with one officer holding a box of pizza and another a container of food.
“When a delivery driver was arrested during a traffic stop, our officers made sure the pizza still got to the customer,” the department wrote on X.
“The order was Hot-N-Ready, and the suspect was Caught-N-Steady,” the caption says, stealing the slogan from Little Caesars and making a dad joke out of it.
“We’re committed to serving our community 24/7 — whether it’s safety or pizza delivery!”
The incident took place July 4, but it wasn’t shared on the department’s social media accounts until last weekend.
“Hello,” the surprised customer says as she opens her door to find the officers with her food.
“How are you doing?” one of the officers asks, to which she responds, “Good, how are you?”
The cop replies, “Very good,” before confirming the woman at the door is Brandy.
“So your GrubHub guy got arrested, so we still delivered your pizza,” the officer explains.
The customer’s mouth drops open when she realizes what is happening.

“I really appreciate the pizza,” the woman says, still appearing quite surprised.
The second officer adds: “It still should be warm.”
Many social media users applauded the officers for going the extra mile and outside their job description.
“This is legit … protect and serve done right,” one user wrote.
Another added: “This is beyond gold. Promote those officers.”
One commenter noted: “I would be so confused if that was my order.”
Another user asked if it was delivered in “under 30 minutes,” while another noted, “A good argument to not pre-tip.”

The delivery driver was nabbed on charges of reckless driving and racing, authorities confirmed to Fox News.
The Toronto Sun reached out to GrubHub for a comment on the incident.
