A female Twitter user, who goes by the name @foxytaughtyou, complained there were 10 hidden cameras in the Philadelphia Airbnb she and another women rented, according to the New York Post.
Her tweets went viral but a police investigation said no cameras were found inside the property, according to Airbnb, who still refunded the woman’s money anyway.
The woman claimed cameras disguised as fire sprinklers were found in the bathroom and bedroom and living room but an Airbnb spokesperson said they were told by a Philadelphia police detective a search for cameras came up empty and the case was being closed.
“The fire sprinklers had regular sprinkler heads,” the spokesperson told the Post.
The woman said after their first night out, the pair came back and slept on the couch, then woke up the next morning and saw one of the alleged cameras above them.

“It was very creepy we were absolutely freaked out when we saw this,” she says in one video she took of the apartment.
“It seems like they tried to hide it but I don’t know that just looks weird it’s just a hole in the ceiling with a camera. So I don’t know how anyone in the past didn’t notice this camera but we did.”
