Deputies responded to calls of a shooting in Weatherford, Tex., around 11:30 p.m. last Tuesday, the Parker County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
The girl allegedly shot her father, fled the scene, and later shot herself after things went awry, according to authorities.
Investigators discovered the girl had “planned for several weeks to murder her family and pets,” striking a deal with a girl who lived in Lufkin, Texas, who was suppose to shoot her own father. That girl didn’t go through with it.

“The pair had then planned for the Weatherford juvenile to drive to Lufkin, pick up the second juvenile suspect and run away together to Georgia,” the Sheriff’s Office said.
“Due to the injuries, the age of the juveniles and the sensitive case matter, information released regarding this case will be limited,” Authier said.
The girl in Lufkin was charged with criminal conspiracy in the planning of the murder plot.
Both victims were airlifted to local hospitals. Their conditions remain unknown.
