“This restaurant in Thailand gives discount if you’re skinny,” the bloggers’ video says.

There are five widths to the “skinny discount” bars with each corresponding with 20%, 15%, 10% and 5% off with the tag above the widest set of bars saying, “Full price, sorry.”

The video begins with one man in a tank top and baggy pants trying to squeeze himself through the 15% discount bars.

“I don’t think you tried hard enough,” a man believed to be Alex tells the discount hunter.

When the 15% discount is a no-go, the man tries the 10% off bars.

“Oh my gosh, what if he gets stuck,” someone asks.

The man eventually manages to get 5% off.

“Better than nothing,” he says in defeat.

People in the comments section suggested that restaurants in the U.S. should have this option, while others joked that they might not even fit between the “full price” bars.

However, others were not a fan of the fat shaming.

“Wouldn’t eat there. That’s really discriminating,” one person wrote.

Another asked, “What’s wrong with you? This can promote eating disorders. Let people enjoy their food and have a healthy weight.”

However, others thought the haters were taking the restaurant’s gimmick too seriously.

“This (politically correct) culture in the West is ridiculous. Stop promoting obesity as ‘healthy weight.’”

Another added: “I’d just take my fat ass to where I’m appreciated.”

Breakfast World, which is described as a “little garden restaurant” that serves more than 120 different styles of international breakfasts, has a 4.5 rating on TripAdvisor with some customers calling it “a real gem” with a “lovely setting.”

Others noted that portions were small and the dishes were overpriced — so perhaps it’s worth trying for a discount.
