The tragic car crash death of actress Anne Heche is a case in point.
A quick scan of social media reveals myriad plot twists involving murder, mayhem and child sex trafficking.
The 53-year-old Donnie Brasco star had narcotics in her system and then crashed her car at more than 150 km per hour in suburban Los Angeles.
Heche survived the crash but died days later in an L.A. hospital after being declared brain dead and her organs were harvested. Docs said the cause of death was smoke inhalation.
Conspiracy enthusiasts say it’s murder.

THE GIRL IN ROOM 13
In the upcoming Lifetime movie slated for a September release, Heche stars as a woman searching for her daughter after she becomes a human trafficking victim. While the made-for-TV opus is based on a true story, it had nothing to do with the actress’s death. Nor did it have anything to do with billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

THE EPSTEIN ANGLE
Folks on social media made the gigantic leap from a Lifetime movie to a global underage sex trafficking ring. The movie, they opined, was based on the sordid Epstein saga.
One missive from the Twittersphere announced: “So actress Anne Heche, who died in a fiery car crash, was working on a movie titled ‘The Girl In Room 13‘ about the Jeffrey Epstein ring.”
The post was retweeted thousands of times as the believers doubled down.
Another tweeted: “Another one offed for getting too close to the truth.”

MORE EPSTEIN
Epstein topped himself (or was he murdered?) in a Manhattan jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. There are plenty of holes in the official story but even after his pimp, Ghislaine Maxwell, was convicted and jailed, questions remain about his twisted coterie of pals who sexually abused young women.

What’s certain is they weren’t the local plumber, electrician or construction worker.

THE ILLUMINATI
A favourite of conspiracy enthusiasts who claim Illuminati are trying to take over the world. Got it? A video entitled “Sacrifice hit” appears to show Heche struggling as she’s carried from the crash scene.
It reads: “Popular actress Anne Heche was alive and tried to escape body bag after fiery crash.” While someone sharing the clip on Instagram writes: “someone is clearly not dead tho and this is a cover-up this was an Illuminati hit.”
Heche had not yet been pronounced dead and was critically injured. No conspiracy.
