Biden, who previously said he grew up in a Puerto Rican neighbourhood, was in Poland on Monday where he boasted about his connections to the country to President Andrzej Duda, saying his childhood home was in a Polish community.
The two leaders had met to discuss the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine as the one-year anniversary nears.

“Let’s lay one thing to rest. I may be a practicing Catholic, but (I) used to go to 7:30 mass every morning in high school and then in college before I went to the Black church,” Biden reiterated.
“Not a joke.”
