Families brawl at Disney World over photo op with sign

Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom wasn’t the happiest place to be earlier this week.

The Orlando-based theme park was the scene of two families engaging in fisticuffs following a disagreement over taking a photo of a sign celebrating the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company.

The brawl happened Monday around 2:30 p.m. just inside the entrance gates to the park and was captured on video by a bystander.

According to Fox 35 Orlando, one family had asked another larger family to move out of frame so they could take a photo with the sign.

One person took exception to the request and punched a member of the other family in the face. Then both groups began to brawl.

At least one person was treated for injuries, but decided not to press charges.

Orange County police removed two others from the park.

Disney World hasn’t been immune to immature behaviour in recent times. In July 2022, a brawl erupted between two families while in line for Mickey’s PhilharMagic theatre.
