More voices have come out critical of U.S. President Joe Biden running for a second term in office.

George Stephanopoulos, who interviewed Biden last week for ABC News following the president’s horrible debate performance, was brutally honest about the 81-year-old Democrat leader when approached in New York City by a passerby on Tuesday.

In a video obtained by celebrity news site TMZ, Stephanopoulos appears to be walking on a sidewalk with headphones on while focused on his cellphone. He is stopped by an unidentified person who asked him how he is doing. The exchange was filmed with the recording device pointed down.

“What do you think? Do you think Biden should step down? You’ve talked to him more than anyone else has lately. You can be honest,” said the man.

“I don’t think he can serve four more years,” the soft-spoken voice, reportedly Stephanopoulos, replies off camera.

“You don’t think he can serve four more years?” the man repeated: “Alright, that’s an answer.”

Following the video’s publication, Stephanopoulos said he regretted making the candid comment.

“Earlier today I responded to a question from a passerby. I shouldn’t have,” the news anchor told Puck News in a statement.

ABC News also released a statement: “George expressed his own point of view and not the position of ABC News.”
