The Colorado Congresswoman lambasted the debate moderator Kyle Clark of 9News Denver on Friday for illuminating her “very private moment.”

“I’m apologizing for you, Kyle Clark, getting footage and releasing that — people seeing this in a very private moment,” Boebert said.

“You were saying how disgusting it is to record someone without their knowledge and you did that very same thing in releasing (the footage).”

The genesis of the Boebert blow-up can be traced to last September when Boebert and her then-beau, Quinn Gallagher, were tossed out of a Beetlejuice performance in Denver.

During the show, the pair were lathering on the PDAs and beyond while blowing vape smoke. In addition, theatre managers weren’t happy about the pair violating the photo policies.

For her part, Boebert denied vaping but that was disproven when the Denver newsman aired footage of her vaping in the theatre. She apologized and ditched Gallagher.

“I certainly have owned up to my night out in Denver, and I’ve gone on that public apology tour, and I’m grateful for the mercy and grace that have been shown, but I’m not going to continue to live life in shame and continue to be beat up by this,” Boebert said during the debate.

“I don’t believe there was disrespect (toward the ushers). I believe things were taken out of context. It’s been reported that I flipped someone off and I did not. So I think it’s been mischaracterized.”

Since the incident Boebert has blamed the night’s naughty events on her divorce.

The MAGA darling has a hard slog ahead. She just squeaked by in 2022 with a 546-vote differential against her Democratic rival.

But she remains unrepentant on her record.

“Well, it’s interesting to hear Democrat talking points from my Republican opponents,” Boebert said. “I do not believe that will make this seat vulnerable. This is a Republican district and they want a Republican who has a 100% conservative voting record, as I do.”

The Beetlejuice episode is not the first time Boebert, 37, has stirred up controversy since she was elected to Congress in 2021. Her personal life in particular has taken a pounding.

Her son Tyler was arrested in February for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Former President Donald Trump loves her, calling Boebert a “trusted America First Fighter” in an endorsement last March. Republicans have a slim 217-213 majority in the lower chamber and are scrambling to retain control during the 2024 election cycle.
