In a posting on social media, the 40-year-old daughter of Brits Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne called out celebrities in general for using the natural disaster as a “photo op” in order to “get attention.”
“Is it just me being my usual cynical self or is it really disturbing to see all of these celebrities using other people’s pain and suffering as a photo op to say, ‘Look I’m helping, I’m doing this, I’m doing that?’” she said in a Instagram video that has been deleted but was reposted to TikTok on Wednesday.
“I don’t believe you help so that you can get attention for helping. I believe you just help because you want to.”
Osbourne was clearly perturbed about how some A-listers have handled themselves in response to the fires.
“I’m so confused. I think it’s so wrong,” she said. “No one asked you to come out and give hugs. Go home.”

On Monday, Meghan was photographed dropping off donations at a relief center in Altadena, Calif., and last week, the Suits actress, 43, was joined by her husband Prince Harry at the Pasadena Convention Center where they were shot hugging people displaced by the fires.
Shortly afterwards, the Sussexes were called out by Family Ties actress Justine Bateman, who labelled them “disaster tourists.”
“Meghan Markle and Harry are no better than ambulance chasers. What a repulsive ‘photo op’ they achieved,” she wrote via X.
