The 49-year-old, whose name will appear on the ballot in the Nov. 5 election, married his wife, Megan, in 2002 and the couple now share three children.
However, an email “directly connected to Osborn” was used to sign up for the dating site, the Daily Mail reported.
Osborn’s email, which was linked to his date of birth and address, was one of the thousands compromised in a 2015 hack, according to documents.
His campaign denied that the wannabe senator ever “used Ashley Madison,” and the email used to register on the dating site was a “shared corporate account” used by “multiple people.”
So the email found in the database of hacked Ashley Madison files doesn’t necessarily mean it was Osborn who signed up for the site, according to his campaign. Someone else could have registered under his name.

There were also screenshots of a Twitter — now X — account linked to Osborn, which were obtained by the Mail, that show he previously liked posts showing or promoting explicit gay porn featuring OnlyFans stars, and photos of naked girls, between February 2020 and June 2021.

Osborn’s campaign also denied that he “liked” any posts about gay pornography on the social media platform last year, but did note that the account “BCTGM 50G Union President” wasn’t solely used by him.
“The account in question was the account of the BCTGM 50G Union President,” the spokesperson said of the former labour leader.
“Multiple people had access to this account and had the ability to like Tweets,” they continued before clarifying, “Dan did not like these tweets.”
Some of the posts Osborn allegedly liked, include a video of three men having sex, another clip that linked to the websites of gay OnlyFans creators, and footage of two people having sex, the Mail reported.
A SurveyUSA poll from last week found Osborn slightly ahead of GOP incumbent Sen. Deb Fischer — by one percentage3 point — but these new allegations could prove troublesome for the Independent.

Osborn has since been under fire over the claims.
“This reporting is shocking,” Mike Berg, communications director for the National Republican Senatorial Committee, told the outlet.
“Dan Osborn is married with kids, so, of course, he doesn’t want to admit that he made an online profile to cheat on his wife or that he spends his free time on social media liking hardcore gay porn,” Berg continued.
“With that said, the evidence Osborn did make an Ashley Madison profile and was liking raunchy gay porn on the internet is pretty damning.”
