A Taiwanese man did just that in order to win an all-you-can-eat sushi meal for himself and five friends as part of a two-day promotion on March 17 by Japanese restaurant Sushiro.

According to United Daily News, any customer whose ID card contained the word “Gui Yu” — Chinese for salmon — was entitled to the sushi feast. Looking for a free meal, a student from Taichung university legally changed his name to Zhang Salmon Dream.

Unfortunately, he has maxed out his name change quota, so he’s now stuck with that name. UDN reported upon getting his newly changed identification card, Zhang was told he had previously changed his name three times and wasn’t able to amend it anymore.

DEAD SNAKE SNARLS LIFE OUT OF CLOTHING DRYER

Everyone has heard of snakes on a plane, but how about a snake in a dryer?

A Florida family looking to repair a faulty clothes dryer was shocked to learn what was causing the problem: a dead snake.

Alyson Pring, of Groveland, told news outlet WKMG her family contacted a repair person after the dryer began spitting out an excess amount of lint.

When a technician arrived on scene to what he thought would be an easy jammed motor repair, never did he think he’d find something scaly in the appliance.

“He just stands up, and he walks off. He’s like, ‘There’s a dead snake in there,'” Pring told the news outlet.

Family members figured it was a pile of lint. But no, it was a snake, which had apparently travelled up the dryer’s exhaust vent.

Once the snake was removed, the dryer once again worked normally. The Prings will now be placing mothballs at the exhaust vent entrance to deter wildlife from entering.

When the package arrived, the befuddled teen wondered why the box was so much larger than a standard iPhone. The teen did receive an iPhone, sort of.

Except it wasn’t a phone, but a coffee table shaped like the device.

Pictures of the teen and his new iPhone coffee table went viral online.
