Ottawa Senators among NHL's 'least attractive' physically: Study

Article content
The Ottawa Senators haven’t qualified for the playoffs since 2017.
That’s a long time — a no-doubt drought.
It’s ugly.
So, too, according to AI, is the team itself.
When it comes to the looks department, the NHL outfit in the nation’s capital was recently named the league’s third least attractive team.
The least attractive, according to Al? The St. Louis Blues.
It seems winning doesn’t solve everything, either. Despite hoisting the Stanley Cup this past season, the Florida Panthers are the second least attractive, according to the data. Sports betting and casino site Tonybet examined the attractiveness of each player on all NHL 32 teams.
When it comes to looks, the West Coast is the best coast and the Vancouver Canucks are the most attractive, according to the research. The Canadian team has an average attractiveness score of 7.8 out of 10, nearly 5% higher than average across the league. Canucks’ Swedish forward Nils Aman is the “most desirable” on the team, according to the data.
Other swoon-worthy NHL squads include the New York Rangers, Detroit Red Wings, San Jose Sharks and Philadelphia Flyers.
As for the Maple Leafs? They’re apparently Switzerland of the lists, landing in the middle of the pack — not among the top 10 most attractive or the bottom 10 of the least attractive clubs in the 32-team league.
