The dim Duke of York was photographed with Epstein strolling through New York’s Central Park in December 2010 — just after the hedge fund headcase had been sprung from a Florida underage prostitution jail sentence.

Andrew had insisted it was the last time he had contact with Epstein. The rogue royal had stayed with Epstein at his Manhattan mansion.

In fact, during his trainwreck interview with the BBC, Andrew insisted he never saw or spoke with Epstein again. But whoops…

Emails unearthed by JP Morgan investigators probing former executive Jes Staley and his relationship with Epstein now seem to suggest otherwise.

Epstein and Andrew were first brought together by the financier’s longtime paramour and groomer, Ghislaine Maxwell, an old-school chum of the prince. The two shared a penchant for money and girls.

And Epstein was also a client of JP Morgan for many years. Following the pedophile’s 2019 jailhouse death, the bank produced a 22-page report on the Epstein-Staley relationship.

According to the Daily Mail, the reports also underscore Staley’s relationship with the famously money-grubbing prince.

In February 2011, the report entry said: “Epstein writes to Staley ‘Andrew asked for your London schedule’.”

Apparently, the prince was looking to hook up with the banker in the UK. But that’s not what he told the BBC.

Interviewer Emily Maitlis asked: “Was that visit, December of 2010 the only time you saw him after he was convicted?”

Andrew replied: “Yes, yeah.”

She then asked: “Did you see him or speak to him again?”

Andrew: “No.”

The prince claimed the visit to the Big Apple was to tell his dear pal that they could no longer be friends. It was decided, Andrew said, by “mutual agreement during that walk in the park we decided that we would part company and I left, I think it was the next day and to this day I never had any contact with him from that day forward”.

The Mail reported that the emails are part of a lawsuit filed by the US Virgin Islands against the bank, which has been accused of knowingly benefiting from Epstein’s sex trafficking.

Outcast Andrew remains on the far outer fringe of royal life after he shelled out more than $20 million to former Epstein sex slave, Virginia Roberts, 39, who claimed the duke sexually assaulted her when she was underage.

Despite the whopping payout, Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing.

Earlier this month, JP Morgan settled a lawsuit for allegedly facilitating Epstein’s sex-trafficking ring for a reported $293 million.

The famed bank is also in a bitter legal battle with Staley, who is accused of sexually abusing a young woman at Epstein’s Virgin Islands redoubt. He denies wrongdoing.
