As of June 29, 2023, “Prince Henry Charles Albert David Duke of Sussex” is a resident of the United States, according to a Companies House filing for Harry’s eco travel venture Travalyst.
That specific date coincides with his leaving his last British home, Frogmore Cottage, which he and his wife, Meghan, vacated following an eviction request from his father, King Charles.
According to the report, the change comes on the heels of comments by the U.S. ambassador to Britain that Harry won’t be deported while Joe Biden is president following requests from the conservative Heritage Foundation to release his visa records.

A royal biographer claims Harry continues to be upset with his father, who announced in February that he had been diagnosed with an undisclosed type of cancer and is receiving treatment.
“King Charles was quite right to evict Harry from Frogmore, and not surprisingly Harry was irritated,” Tom Bower told The Daily Mail. “He and Meghan thought they could have their cake and eat it.
“Unfortunately, the King did not go further and strip the Sussexes of their titles. That might have stopped their recent promotional splurge, exploiting their royal titles to earn money. Hopefully, when the King recovers he will reconsider his attitude towards the Sussexes and distance them further from the Royal Family.”
The change in residency also means Harry may have to relinquish his legal obligation as a Counsellor of State, which allows him, if residing in Britain, to stand in for the monarch should it be required.

Meanwhile, Harry suffered a legal setback on Monday after a London judge rejected his request to appeal an earlier ruling upholding a government panel’s decision to limit his access to publicly funded security whenever he returns to Britain.
After giving up his status as a working member of the Royal Family more than four years ago, Harry argued that he and his wife and children still needed an armed security detail to be protected due to hostility on social media and persistent hounding by the British press.
