News of next year’s release of Harry’s memoir was not welcomed by the Royal Family, which saw how he and wife Meghan Markle can control the narrative when it suits them.
A source told media correspondent Neil Sean that while the book would be personal, it is also a way of explaining some of the “thorny” aspects of the interview.
“He will address the reasons why he did the interview and reviewed so much (of their lives) with Oprah Winfrey,” Sean said on his YouTube channel, according to The Express.
“This would be interesting in itself given the sort of mistakes that came through with that particular interview, but also reasons to plow ahead at such a difficult time.”
Sean was referring to when the interview aired, which was at a time when his ailing grandfather, Prince Philip, was reportedly in hospital. It was supposed to be delayed, but the production company wanted to air it to stop details from the controversial sit-down from being leaked to the public.

Plus, the much-anticipated interview had already been aggressively promoted to fans and haters alike.
“You know, after all, he is still a part of the family, but we can only assume that he knows the true story as to why the production company plowed ahead,” he added. “He has had to live with it ever since it aired.”
As for Harry’s memoir, it is believed to include some “explosive details” about his brother, Prince William, according to Sean.
“I imagine we will get more information about the relationship with his brother, probably the relationship with his father, and possibly the relationship with other members of the Royal Family and the courts, because Harry and Meghan feel that they were unfairly treated while they were working members of the House of Windsor,” he said.
