Donald Trump mocks Taylor Swift again during visit by Super Bowl champion Eagles

Donald Trump got in another dig at pop star Taylor Swift on Monday as the Philadelphia Eagles paid a visit to the White House to celebrate the team’s Super Bowl victory.
The Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl LIX on Feb. 9 at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
The U.S. president spoke about attending the game and then took a jab at the pop star during the ceremony.
“I was there, I watched in person. I was there along with Taylor Swift. How did that work out?” Trump said on the South Lawn as the crowd laughed.
Swift was at the game to support her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and was booed by some fans when she appeared on the Jumbotron.
After leaving the game, Trump took to his Truth Social platform to rip into the singer.
“The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift,” he wrote after the Eagles victory. “She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!”
Leading up to the 2024 presidential election, Swift publicly supported Democratic nominee and former Vice President Kamala Harris in a lengthy statement on social media last September.
“I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” Trump fired back online.

While most of the Eagles’ championship roster attended the White House event, there were some notable players who skipped the trip including star quarterback Jalen Hurts, who cited a scheduling conflict, as well as wide receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, and several defensive stars, according to reports.
However, the most notable Eagles star to attend the ceremony was running back Saquon Barkley.
“Complementing Saquon’s historic season was an incredible year for a star quarterback Jalen Hurts,” Trump told the crowd. “He really played, he had a great season and a great game. Finished with 32 touchdowns on the year, turning in one stellar performance after another, terrific guy.”
