Dr. David Diffine.Diffine Family Practice

An Arkansas doctor, whose medical licence was temporarily suspended by state administrators, was filmed naked inside his family practice and performed a sex act in the presence of his female staff.
That’s according to footage and documents obtained following a Freedom of Information Act request by television station KAIT in Jonesboro in relation to Dr. David Diffine’s suspension by the Arkansas State Medical Board in October.
According to the person who submitted the evidence, the videos were taken in 2019 by surveillance cameras at his family practice in Blytheville.
In one video, Diffine is seen walking naked between patient rooms and in the hallways.
Another clip shows the doctor in the nude at the receptionist area, which is staffed by three women. He then performs a sexual act and ejaculates on one of the women.
The documents said one of the staff at the receptionist area was employed as a lab technician for another company and was also a patient of Diffine.
The person who submitted the videos claimed that Diffine used his “position of power, sexual grooming, salary increases to groom employees and patients into repulsive sexual acts.”

All videos were taken during business hours, according to the person who sent the footage to the medical board.
According to the report, a state health investigator spoke with Diffine by phone and told him there was video evidence of his inappropriate behaviour.
“I don’t know anything about that at all,” Diffine replied, the report said. “I would have to see those things to have any idea what you’re talking about.”
The medical board said Diffine posed “an ongoing danger” to the community.
“The pervasive behaviour leads to concerns about a sexual compulsive disorder or paraphilia which may in fact cross boundaries with his delivery of medical care,” Dr. Bradley Diner, Arkansas Medical Foundation, wrote in the investigative report.

“Simply, the interaction with his office staff suggest an entanglement in his medical practice.”
A hearing for Diffine is set for Dec. 6 to determine if he violated the Medical Practices Act and possibly suspend his licence to practise in the state.
According to KAIT, this is not the first time Diffine has had his licence temporarily suspended.
In 2017, he was accused of overprescribing an “excessive amount” of drugs to his patients, but the allegations were dismissed by the medical board after no proof was found.
